BIO

I have more experience than I care to admit. I remember writing my first research papers on a typewriter, and of course, we hadn't yet discovered social media at the time. Boy, things sure have changed since MySpace. Like all God's creatures, I adapted to survive, adding new skills to my resume as I evolved into a modern human. But one thing that has never changed is my reverence of the power of words.

Ironically, my journey down the literary path began in sales when I realized I had the gift of gab, and if it wasn't for my early successes as a sales rep, I never would have been able to afford college. After earning a bachelor's degree in English, I was bound and determined to become a writer, but the sales gene never left my DNA. I made my way into advertising, working in the newspaper business and making it my personal mission to keep the printed word alive. 

I brought this experience and nostalgia with me when I took on later roles as a marketing director at first and then later as editor-in-chief presiding over two nationwide magazines. During this stint, I honed my skills as a copywriter and a content creator, authoring dozens of sales letters and direct mail offers that were sent out to thousands of homes across America. The two sides of my persona, the writer and the salesperson, finally converged. I also realized that words can sell more than just newspapers and magazines.

Now my mission is to lend a voice to anyone looking for the right message. My specialty is still sales and advertising copy, but I can help my clients create a variety of content and marketing collateral. More importantly, I'll lend an ear as well. Listening and learning is the underappreciated superpower of every good writer, and it's the one service many clients need the most. After all, I am not just trying to sell an idea or product; I'm here to tell your story.
